Easter this year was the start of our spring break and it was wonderful! I loved being able to celebrate and then have an entire week to hang out and have fun. Unfortunately Justin was working midnights and was missed dearly but that left alot of fun with just me and my girlies.
My dad loves to get the girl's Easter baskets. One day we were able to meet up with him for lunch and he surprised each of the girls with an oh so generous basket full of goodies! Needless to say the girls were in heaven all day playing with their new toys and chowing down on candy :)
These girls sure are spoiled by not only getting Easter goodies from the Easter Bunny but every single grandparent gave them something to celebrate - they are truly lucky to have so many people in their lives who love them so much!
Easter morning we woke daddy up (after just getting home from work) and waiting on the stairs till the video camera was ready to find their baskets from the Easter Bunny and then go on a little egg hunt around the house.
Both were thrilled with their look - candy, a book, and even a movie! I struggle with how to make Easter more Christ-centered. We talk about the holiday, the Savior, the Atonement, and the Resurrection but I need to be better on finding more ways to emphasize why exactly we are celebrating.
Even Elle loved her new goodies :)
After Church we attempted to take some photos (haha) - here's the best of them :)
Me and my ladies...
