{zoo}

One thing on our summer bucket list: go to the zoo. Here are a couple of my little monkeys :)

Lucky for us the company my dad works for does a huge family work party at the zoo every year. It is quite the shin-dig complete with tons of food and drinks, prizes, and lots of candy. My dad always invites us and it has become a fun tradition we look forward to every year now!

We started the afternoon off with a yummy barbeque lunch and toted away lots of candy and drinks to hold us off for the next few hours we would spend in the sun :)

While Brooklyn couldn't get enough of the Now and Later's...

And both girls were in love with the peacock fans they each got courtesy of a basket of goodies on each table...

Good thing we brought the double stroller because everyone took their fair share of rides - it was a gorgeous sunny day that left us all a little tuckered out after over 5 hours of strolling through the zoo :)

Brooklyn's favorite animal was the polar bear - 

Elle got to live the high life - being carried around all day - just where she likes it best :)

We loved the awesome underwater exhibit where we got to see the seals up close and personal.

I counted this as my workout for the day - I was definitely sweaty and pooped out after our trip around the zoo was done!

Of course the girls got spoiled by their Papa and each came home with a new stuffed animal - Brooklyn with Snowy the Polar Bear and Addy with an adorable Elephant.
