thanksgiving

This year we decided not to travel for Thanksgiving and just spend a quiet weekend at home with our little family. We've been traveling a lot lately and have seen all of our family very recently that we gladly welcomed a nice long weekend to ourselves.

Some good friends graciously invited us over for Thanksgiving dinner and it turned out great! We all helped cook a little something which was wonderful and not overwhelming to any one of us. We ate lots, the kids played, the boys watched football, and then the girls ended the night with lots and lots of hours of black friday shopping filled with good deals and special memories.

It was a perfect way to celebrate all we're thankful for and spend some last minute time with our good friends before they move to Texas. We've loved getting to know them in the short time they've been here and will miss them when they leave on their new adventure!
