{july}

We have had so much fun this summer and rather than being overwhelmed trying to post it all I'm just clumping all of July into one giant post! I'll probably do the same for August :)

We found these treasures at Goodwill for a couple of bucks and the girls have had fun trying them out. I have always loved rollerskating and even have my own pair so I'm hoping they take after their momma and we can do lots of rollerskating together in the future.

 Our library puts on a 'Touch a Truck Day' each summer and although this is our 6th summer here it's the first time we've ever been!!! The girls loved every second of it and we'll definitely have to make it a priority in years to come.

They got to work the garbage truck...

Drive a tractor...

Steer the fire truck and check out many more trucks they often see around town. They had such a fun time with friends and even left with a hat and snacks :)

The beginning of July is also when we found out that we were expecting our third little baby girl. Some of my girlfriends got together at the park and I told them the surprise by giving each of them a black balloon they had to pop. Once they accomplished their mission pink rose petals burst out everywhere :)  It was quite the sight to watch! My parent's couldn't wait to hear so they were told over the phone but my sisters let me do the same thing for them!

We have spent many a nights this month eating yummy ice cream at our favorite ice cream shop!

Addy had her very first dentist appointment this month and she did awesome! She has a big sister who does great at the dentist so she just followed along using her good example. She's a very good brusher so I wasn't surprised to hear that her teeth looked perfect :)

One of our absolute favorite things to do during the summer is go blueberry picking. This year we went twice and collected over 13lbs of blueberries. We eat a million and one while we're there and once we take them home they never last long enough for me to make anything with them or freeze them - we eat them too fast!

At the beginning of the month we celebrated the Fourth of July with our family but the night of the 3rd some of our friends invited us to the local baseball game. They had a suite so we got to hang out with them and their fun extended family. We had so much fun watching the game, eating yummy food, and Brooklyn's favorite part - meeting the team's mascot (she ran right to him to give him a huge hug and he even let her where his hat!) - the night ended perfectly with fireworks and sleeping children!

We had a great July and are going to cherish this one last week of summer before school starts!
