A little while ago we went down to visit family for a long weekend. On Friday we went with PaPa (my dad) to the zoo. Prior to this we had only been to the little zoo near our house (really a bunch of farm animals) so this was the kiddos first time seeing some really big and fun animals we always talk and read about.
The girls were all geared up with new shades...
First we saw the penguins (which always made me think of Happy Feet - love that movie!)...
Then some butterflies and birdies...
Then on to the big animals (apparently no one really likes the stroller all too much)...
There was quite a lot to see and after a late night in the hot tub at PaPa's everyone was absolutely tuckered out as you can see (yes this is the only was we could get Addy to sleep)....
And so although we ended our zoo trip with two snoring kiddos we had a really fun time and would love to go back!
