{thanksgiving}

This year Thanksgiving was hosted at our house! Elle was only 4 days old so my family came to me and we worked together to make the most delicious turkey dinner :)

The entire month we kept a Thankful Tree in the kitchen and would add leaves to it everyday. Brooklyn never let a day go by without reminding us to do it and it was sweet to see what everyone was thankful for - Jesus, Elle, freedom, and toys were just a few.

Thanksgiving night we headed out to do some Black Friday shopping. Elle tagged along with me, my friend Talai, and my sisters.We started the night by getting pulled over - don't turn left when you clearly see a sign that says no left turn :) but that was no indication on how the rest of the night went. We found good deals, worked together to manage the lines and crowds, and got home by 1am - my earliest year yet! Elle was a doll and quietly slept in her car seat the entire time :)

The rest of the long weekend was spent lounging around, playing, decorating for Christmas, watching movies, eating yummy food, and best of all enjoying our new sweet little one.

 (Had to post this picture to show that Elle has yet to have a peaceful sleep in the swing - okay maybe a few times but most of the time I see the girls reading to her, singing to her, trying to put a binkie in, and just doing their best to calm her down if she's crying (which is all so so sweet to watch - they truly love her to pieces). She also however gets swung WAY too high, is often found snuggled with stuffed animals and here she's being shown her new Christmas dress!)
