Brooklyn's second birthday was on the 17th of April. It just happened to be the day after we came home from the hospital. Thankfully, she didn't really know and so doing a few small things at the time were good enough for her.

After sleeping in and getting her favorite candy at the store we went to the park and met friends to play. She loved it of course and bawled her eyes out the entire ride home because she didn't want to leave.
At home she helped mommy make a cake. She loves to help crack the eggs, stir, and add the sprinkles.
My big helper!

We ended up not eating the cake on her actual birthday because her PaPa came brought her cupcakes so the next day we had it for breakfast!

In the evening her PaPa (my dad) came up and brought us dinner (much appreciated), cupcakes, and a small present for Brooklyn. They had fun blowing bubbles in the yard before the sun went down.
