Nothing too exciting around our house this Easter. With almost everyone in our house getting sick by Thursday we pretty much spent the entire weekend at home sitting on the couch with the tv on and the trash can next to us.

We still managed to get all of the fun Easter traditions in amongst the sickness. We ended up having an Easter themed Family Home Evening earlier in the week where we learned about the last week of the Savior's life including the Resurrection.

We dyed eggs pretty colors-

Ate lots of yummy candy (including two HUGE chocolate bunnies PaPa brought us) -

We hunted for eggs around the house and found our Easter baskets -

The girl's also got another Easter basket from their Nana and Pubby -

By Sunday they girl's were both feeling better and got to dress up (with their new 'minnie' shoes from grandma) and go to church with daddy -

It actually ended up being a perfectly warm day so they got to spend the afternoon outside blowing bubbles and using their new chalk -

Despite a rough beginning to our holiday weekend it ended up with everyone feeling better, lots of yummy food and candy, and included a nice quiet day with just our little family - perfect!
