{circus}

One tradition our preschool does every year for the 4 year old class is put on a circus near the end of the school year. Each of the kids are assigned a part, they have costumes, practice, and finally perform for friends and family. It's complete with a ring master, lions, juggler, clowns, and cannon ball.

I was amazed at how well all of the kids did and it was so fun to watch them work hard for something and then see the smiles on each of their faces once their performance was complete.

Brooklyn was the cannonball assistant. She loved wearing a tutu and crown. She climbed high, waved, shook her tambourine,  and got the crowd counting before the cannonball was shot out (another student going through a tunnel slide). She did great!
