My first baby girl Brooklyn turned the b-i-g 5 years old 2 days after Addy's birthday.

This little princess seems like she has grown up so fast! I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday and yet somehow the time has flown right by. I had been wanting a baby for awhile but knew we should wait till Justin graduated school. So after almost 4 years of marriage this little cutie entered the world the day of Justin's last final - it was planned perfectly - and she ended up being just that :)

She's such a talented little girl. Sometimes quiet and shy in unfamiliar group settings but outgoing and fun with friends and her family. She's a girly girl who loves to sing, dance, do gymnastics, dress-up, put on plays, make up stories etc. but also loves to hit a softball, kick a soccer ball, and be rough and tumble with her daddy.

She's finishing up her last year of preschool - which she loves. She's reading and writing, loves to do puzzles, color, and most of all play with any and every toy that is out there. She's always been stellar at imaginative play and can pick up just about anything and keep herself entertained for hours. For quiet time she doesn't like me to set the timer (which is usually for an hour) because she says she will want to play in her room longer :) She's super excited to go to kindergarten in the fall - which doesn't surprise me. The girls loves to learn. She learns things quickly and loves to inquire about new things and ask lots of questions.

She's got the natural personality of a first born. Even at her young age she's responsible, helpful, kind, looks after others, obeys, and loves to snuggle and do anything with her momma! I love the girl to pieces and I'm so lucky she's part of our family :)

Goodness, those pictures brought back a lot of memories! She's a beauty, that Brooklyn, like her mama!

Happy Birthday!!
