A couple of weeks ago was fire prevention week. Addison was able to learn about it all week at preschool and then the firefighters even came. She was a lucky one to be chosen to put on the firefighter's gear. She was so thrilled but absolutely drowned in the clothing!
She loved checking out the truck and getting a picture with her teachers and her entire class.
Over the weekend one of our local fire stations had an open house for the kids where they were able to check out the firehouse, where the firefighters eat and workout, where the truck is stored, practice stop, drop, and rolling, and even left with a big goodie bag full of souvenirs and helpful info.
We are lucky to live in such a great town that offers so many fun and helpful community events! I love to see the girls learning so much and showing so much interest on how to be safe :)
