Back in September we ventured out to our town's local balloon festival.
The empty fairgrounds become crowded with tons and tons of people, food, over twenty something hot air balloons, and skydivers overhead.
We've lived here for over 5 years and for some reason it was the very first time I was actually able to go. We brought snacks, met up with friends, and had a perfect evening hanging out and chatting.
The best part was once it gets dark all the balloons light up at the same time. It was a great ending to a wonderful evening. It will definitely become a tradition we won't miss in the future!
