Weekend Getaway

On Wednesday night we decided that since Justin had the day off on Friday and his brother's family was traveling to Pittsburgh for our only little nephew's first birthday, that we would surprise them and make the trip too! So we left the next night and surprised everyone! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating with friends and family!
Every time we go to Pittsburgh we have to make sure we get to hang out with some of our best friends. We had a fun night letting the babies play, chowing down on pizza, and chatting up a storm as always :)
Pubby with his 2 grandbabies. Can you tell that Ashton and Brooklyn are related? They have the exact same hair and lots of other similar features. We loved seeing them together!
Nana with both the babies. They truly had a blast together.
Brooklyn chillin out in her carseat. We wished so bad that she would have been ready for her forward facing carseat - instead I had to sit in the back with her and try my hardest to entertain her. After a few million minutes of screaming she finally fell asleep and lucky for us she slept for the rest of the ride!
My handsome little nephew. And one of his cute uncles holding him :)
Our attempt at a family picture. This was the best. hahaha :)
My little sunshine. The weather was gorgeous and after eating some delicious food at Ashton's party we all got to play outside in the beautiful weather! I can't wait for summer :)
Best buddies!
Happy Birthday Ashton!
I only hope Brooklyn will devour her cake as well as Ashton did! He smashed the ENTIRE thing and ended up having cake and icing EVERYWHERE! I love it. He was adorable. I can't wait for Brooklyn's birthday next week :)

So you keep going on lots of fun little trips. When are you going to come back to Utah and visit?

Brooklyn is way cute. Have fun celebrating her birthday. Isn't it crazy how fast the time goes?

Okay, soooooo cute. And cousins are the best! One of Leah's best friends is her cousin, Anden (almost the same age) and we love watching them play together. Brooklyn is a doll!

We recently played so much on Jax' first birthday that we didn't even get to eat the birthday cupcakes... and still haven't since Dan gets home from baseball too late. Hopefully Jackson won't ever feel cheated! :)
