I thought kindergarten was loaded with fun activities and programs but man so was first grade!!! Brooklyn's last program at the end of the year was The Little Red Hen. She was thrilled to be one of the announcers and did the most fabulous job!
The three first grade classes performed lots of fun songs and skits and just looked absolutely adorable all dressed up in their parts! One good thing about being so little is that Brooklyn always gets the front row - right where I can see her best :)
Afterward the kids had yummy snacks and treats in their classrooms. But the most exciting thing of all was getting to show everyone their baby chicks. The kids had received eggs, incubated them, and watched them hatch throughout the spring. They were so excited to share these special little pets with all of their family before they left the school for the farm!
